For specialty trades

Specialty trades on a community’s list.

Requests for proposals from communities near your yard land on your dashboard. You choose which ones to answer, at your own price, under your own name. The community reads the proposals that came in and picks one.

Free to join. The trade below is already ticked when you get there.

Satellite view of an Oregon community: detached houses on curving streets under heavy tree cover, with a school running track in one corner of the frame and rows of apartment blocks along the lower edge.
The ground a request is written against — a real community, from the map the board is looking at.

What it looks like from your side

What you read, and what you send back.

The request

A community writes what it wants done and how often, and every company on the list for that trade sees the same document. Nothing is routed to you and nothing is withheld from anyone else.

The ground it covers

The ground or the structures the board named in the request. It is drawn from parcel data rather than measured on site, so you can see the extent of the job before you price the spec sheet against it.

What you send back

Your own proposal, priced in whatever unit your own trade bids in. You set the number, you keep your brand, and you invoice the community yourself when the work is done.

The people on the job keep their own names here too: your crew, under the name your license is issued in.

Before your first proposal

What we ask a specialty trade for.

  • General liability
  • Workers’ compensation
  • Your trade’s own license or certification

A person here reads each certificate and records its expiration date.

The credential your trade issues

The license or certification your own trade issues. We record it with its expiration date.

What the community sees you produce

The line-item proposal against the board’s spec sheet, and the completion record for the work.

Your dashboard

The account is free, and this is what comes with it.

The dashboard is the same one every company on HOAcrew gets: the open requests that fit what you do, the proposals you have out, the documents we hold for you, and what you are owed. You invoice under your own name from inside it.

Pick a trade — each one is a different dashboard

Frequent visits, each one a chemistry log. Free chlorine and pH are required every visit, because your health department is what sets the interval a public pool records at, and the dashboard asks for both before it lets you close the visit.

Pool is the only trade you work, so the board carries no service filter and every stop on it is yours. Completing one needs a photo of the finished job, plus this visit’s chlorine and pH readings.

Chlorine and pH are required every visit because the health department sets that floor. A reading outside the normal band is recorded and flagged, never refused.
